During your pre treatment consultation as an expert stylist your permanent make up artist will evaluate your face and lip shape to determine the most flattering lip enhancement to compliment your look.
Please note when we refer to creating lip line definition, the effect can be produced as the softest shadow of colour that gives just the right amount of clarity to the lip boarder and looks absolutely natural.
Creating fuller lips without fillers or surgery
If you want fuller looking lips but are not sure about having dermal fillers to augment the lip shape, permanent cosmetic lip enhancement can be used to make your lips appear fuller. In order to achieve this look your permanent make up specialist will create a subtle lip line slightly beyond your natural lip contour and will blend a desired lip colour down into the body of the lip to conceal the space between the newly placed lip line and your natural lip contour.
And if you do use fillers to augment your lips, permanent cosmetic lip enhancement completes and complements the work of the plastic surgeon by adding colour and definition to your lips.
Shaping lips to combat the ageing process
When designing a lip shape that achieves a youthful appearance our permanent make up specialists will create a full rounded shaped lip rather than a thin, sharp shape that has a harsh look. The subtle lip definition created by the lip enhancement will also make the appearance of fine smokers or age lines on the upper lip less apparent.
To create the illusion of lift and a fuller upper lip our expert permanent make up specialists lift the bow of the lip marginally beyond the line of the natural bow, continuing through and creating a newly placed lip line slightly above the natural lip boarder.
If the lip corners turn downwards she will blend the lip line away slightly short of the corners to detract from the droop.
In the central zone of the lower lip the permanent make up specialist will position the lip line just below the natural lip contour in order to achieve the illusion of fullness and volume.

Correction of an unevenly shaped mouth

She will also camouflage the visible space between your newly designed lip line and the natural lip contour by blending a favored lip colour into the body of the lip.
A more discreet mouth
If you require a more discrete mouth our permanent makeup specialists will design a lip line within the boarders of the natural lip contour. The newly designed lip line needs to be slightly stronger than the natural lip colour in order to effectively distract from the natural lip contour.
