The advanced procedures you can choose to learn are:-
Hypo-pigmented scars and skin grafts can be camouflaged
by implanting carefully selected skin tone pigments into the area in
order to obtain a colour match that diminishes the appearance of the
scar.
Vitiligo that has been in remission for one year can
be successfully pigmented using pigments that mimic the tonal variance
of normal skin.
Micro-pigmentation can be used to considerably improve
the appearance of a cleft lip or cleft palate. Pigments that mimic the
natural lip colour are used to recreate the cupid’s bow and a symmetrical
lip shape. Scarring associated with cleft surgery can also be effectively
camouflaged.
After breast reconstruction following mastectomy the
areola and nipple complex can be restored using specialised medical
tattooing techniques which create the optical illusion of a 3 dimensional
areola complex that is natural looking. Scarring from breast reduction
and uplift surgical procedures can also be significantly camouflaged
via the implantation of custom blended pigments that disguise the scars.
Micro-pigmentation can improve the look of hair deficiency
by camouflaging scars and ‘shading in’ the bare patches of
skin. Treatment sites include camouflage of hair transplant scars, diminishing
hairlines in females, the beard or moustache and the pubic region after
caesarean.
The medical education programme is headed up by Tracey
Simpson and plastic surgeon Jean Paul Tiziano, who has 30 years experience
